Fleetworthy Integrates Lytx Video Snapshots for Streamlined Fleet Safety

Fleetworthy has announced a new systems integration with video telematics provider Lytx, embedding time-specific video snapshots directly within its Safety+ platform (formerly Drivewyze Safety+).

The software update surfaces critical visual evidence inside the Safety+ Map View alongside real-time driver behavior metrics, such as speeding violations and adverse weather driving data. This development allows fleet managers to combine structural risk analytics with visual proof to optimize driver coaching without navigating away from the core operating system.

Previously, safety teams managing assets equipped with both platforms had to manually cross-reference data streams across separate software portals to reconstruct road incidents—a fragmented workflow that delayed processing speeds.

“Fleet safety depends on having the full picture, and until now that meant jumping between systems during critical coaching moments,” stated Martin Murtland, VP of Product at Fleetworthy. The integration resolves this operational bottleneck by delivering contextual highway footage at the exact point of safety reviews.

The cross-platform compatibility requires no additional hardware installations and functions alongside existing camera deployments configured with standard electronic logging devices (ELDs). “Integrating Lytx video snapshots directly into Fleetworthy Safety+ gives fleet managers and drivers instant access to critical visual context,” added Dave Cassie, Vice President of Channel Sales at Lytx.

The data link is available upon request to existing subscribers, facilitating faster liability determinations and improved shop-floor driver feedback loops across the commercial transportation sector.
