Magna Tyres Group Appoints new CFO

Magna Tyres Group has appointed Arnold van Woerkum as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), strengthening its executive leadership as the international tire manufacturer advances its long-term expansion plans.

Van Woerkum joined Magna Tyres in 2025 following more than a decade at Van Mossel Automotive Group, where he served as Manager Group Control. In his new role as CFO, he will oversee global financial operations, internal control systems, and capital allocation for future M&A activities.

The executive transition follows key consolidation milestones, including the recent acquisition of Belgian distributor Forrez. Magna Tyres projects an annual turnover of approximately €275 million in 2026, with a corporate strategic goal to reach €650 million by 2029.

“Our ambitions require a strong financial organization as we continue growing internationally, both organically and through acquisitions,” stated Michael de Ruijter, President of Magna Tyres Group. “Arnold’s experience is an important step in preparing the company for its next phase.”

For Canadian commercial tire dealers, mining operations, and industrial equipment fleet managers, the appointment signals capital stability and expanded product availability across Magna's regional distribution hubs
