Maxam Tire Expands Forestry Portfolio with MS934 and MS936 TimberXtra Series

Maximizing traction, flotation, and casing durability in severe terrain, Maxam Tire introduces specialized fitments for forestry logging machinery.

Maxam Tire has launched two new forestry tire series: the MS934 for forwarders and cut-to-length (CTL) machines, and the MS936 TimberXtra for skidders and feller bunchers. The MS936 TimberXtra incorporates an aggressive LS2 tread architecture engineered for severe mud performance, while the MS934 features an open-center tread pattern optimized for seamless integration with over-the-tire track systems.

For forestry operations managers, heavy-equipment fleet directors, and commercial tire dealers, these specialized fitments deliver high puncture resistance and stable footprint geometry during heavy timber extraction.

According to Maxam Tire R&D leadership, both product lines feature nylon-wrapped bead structures to prevent unwinding under high torque loads alongside widened lug shoulders for enhanced machine stability. The manufacturer will also expand the MS936 line with upcoming high-ply ratings, including 35.5L32 30PR and 67/34.00X25 20PR sizes.
