Maxam unveils deeper-tread Z-Lug rubber track for CTLs
Engineering extended service life for compact track loaders, Maxam Tire releases its reinforced MT152 rubber track featuring an upgraded Z-Lug tread architecture.
Specialty tire and track manufacturer Maxam Tire has introduced the MT152 rubber track, featuring an enhanced Z-Lug tread design engineered for compact track loaders (CTL) operating in earthmoving and site preparation applications. The new model combines deeper tread depth, a larger contact footprint, and a reinforced carcass structure to increase wear life in severe ground conditions.
For earthmoving contractors, equipment rental fleets, and commercial site operators, the product update addresses total cost of ownership by extending tread wear and mitigating jobsite damage. The stepped tread pattern accelerates mud and debris self-cleaning to preserve continuous traction, while a cut-and-tear-resistant compound protects structural integrity against harsh debris.
Matt Fagan, Director of Research & Development at Maxam Tire, noted that the MT152 was developed specifically to maximize machine uptime and deliver higher operational value across demanding jobsite environments.
