Thermo King Expands EV Series All-Electric Transport Refrigeration Lineup

Improving last-mile energy efficiency and cargo temperature stability, Thermo King introduces four new all-electric transport refrigeration units for urban delivery fleets.

Thermo King has expanded its all-electric EV series with the launch of four new transport refrigeration units, including the EV200e, EV300e, EV500e, and EV500S models. Engineered specifically for urban distribution and high-frequency last-mile logistics, the lineup provides dedicated cooling solutions for fresh e-commerce goods, produce, and pharmaceuticals, delivering an 8.3 percent improvement in operating energy efficiency compared to legacy systems.

For urban fleet managers, cold chain logistics executives, and last-mile delivery operators, the updated refrigeration units accelerate temperature recovery during frequent door openings to optimize vehicle battery range.

According to Thermo King leadership, the units incorporate ARCON intelligent control architecture to ensure cargo temperature stability within ±0.5 degrees Celsius alongside the iTracKing II telematics package for remote unit management and real-time thermal monitoring.
