WAI Global Expands Late-Model Aftermarket Coverage with 109 New SKUs

WAI Global has released its Q2 2026 New Part Introduction (NPI) portfolio update. The manufacturer introduced 109 new part numbers, expanding application coverage to over 40.5 million commercial and passenger vehicles in operation across Canada and the United States.

The quarterly release addresses high-demand electrical, mechanical, and safety replacement categories critical to wholesale parts distributors, independent service centers, and commercial fleet maintenance operations. The updated offerings span:

  • Charging & Starting Systems: High-output starters, alternators, voltage regulators, rectifiers, and solenoids;
  • Visibility & Body Electronics: Wiper motors, wiper linkage assemblies, and power window regulators;
  • Chassis & Engine Management: New brake calipers and advanced engine management sensors.

To support repair shops servicing vehicles transitioning out of original equipment (OE) warranty coverage, WAI’s engineering team focused on high-volume late-model applications, including:

  • 19363N Starter: Fitting late-model Hyundai and Kia platforms (up to model year 2025);
  • 11764N Alternator: Supporting Toyota 4Runner utility vehicles (up to model year 2023);
  • WPM5037 Wiper Motor: Engineered for Mazda CX-5 and CX-9 crossovers (up to model year 2025);
  • WPL144 Wiper Motor Linkage: Designed for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty trucks (up to model year 2019).

“Our NPI strategy is focused on delivering late-model and first-to-market coverage that helps our customers stay ahead of repair demand,” stated Ron Bernstein, President, North America, WAI Global. “By identifying critical coverage gaps and bringing high-quality products to market quickly, we enable professional installers to complete repairs without relying on remanufactured alternatives or core exchanges.”

Beyond light-duty passenger vehicles, WAI’s Q2 introduction extends across diversified commercial segments, adding component coverage for heavy-duty commercial trucks, agricultural machinery, industrial equipment, marine systems, and outdoor power electronics.
