Yard Automation: Holman and ISEE Partner
A joint offering from fleet management firm Holman and AI developer ISEE enables logistics operators to automate yard truck operations without replacing existing assets.
Global fleet services provider Holman has partnered with AI developer ISEE to scale the deployment of autonomous yard trucks across distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and port terminals. The agreement is accompanied by a strategic investment from Holman to accelerate commercial adoption of driverless material handling equipment.
For commercial fleet managers and logistics operators, the collaboration targets core barriers to automation, including high upfront capital expenditure, software integration challenges, and vendor fragmentation. Holman's end-to-end robotics management platform bundles vehicle leasing, maintenance, data integration, and upfitting capabilities. This allows enterprise customers to retrofit existing yard tractors with ISEE's autonomous driving technology rather than purchasing entire new fleets.
ISEE's proprietary AI system enables driverless trailer movement within congested, mixed-traffic industrial environments. By converting manual trailer spotters into automated units, fleet and facility operators can maintain continuous 24/7 yard throughput, mitigate ongoing driver labor shortages, and improve total cost of ownership across supply chain hubs.
