More than 150 fleet professionals gathered in Milton to drive vehicles from 12 automakers and explore products and services from 11 industry suppliers.
For fleet professionals, getting behind the wheel of a vehicle before considering it for their fleet applications is a must.
That was the opportunity at the 2026 NAFA Ontario Ride & Drive, held on Sept. 23rd at Heritage Country Park in Milton, Ont. More than 150 fleet professionals registered for the event, which brought together 12 OEMs and more than 30 vehicles for attendees to see and drive. Eleven suppliers were also on hand to showcase products and services for fleet operators.
The event offered fleet professionals an opportunity to experience a broad mix of vehicles in one location, from battery-electric models and hybrids to pickups, SUVs, vans and vehicles suited to specialized applications.

For fleet managers, the appeal of an event like this goes beyond simply seeing the latest models. A ride and drive gives decision makers an opportunity to assess vehicle size, driving characteristics, visibility, interior functionality and technology firsthand: factors that can be difficult to evaluate from spec sheets alone.
It also provides an opportunity to speak directly with OEM representatives and industry suppliers about how new vehicles and technologies could fit different fleet applications.
With more than 30 vehicles represented, the 2026 NAFA Ontario Ride & Drive provided a useful snapshot of the choices available to Canadian fleets as they consider their next round of vehicle acquisitions.
