Fleetio Deploys AI Platform to Slash Vehicle Downtime

Fleet management platform Fleetio has launched the general availability of its AI Service Advisor tool following a six-month beta period evaluating over $1.4 billion in service expenditures. Embedded within Fleetio’s CMMS platform, the AI assistant cross-references historical maintenance records, active diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and warranty coverage to streamline repair decisions and auto-approve low-risk service orders.
For commercial fleet directors, heavy-duty maintenance managers, and service bay operators, the platform reduces average vehicle repair downtime by 2.5 hours while eliminating manual line-by-line work order reviews.
According to Fleetio executive leadership, the tool leverages 14 years of historical repair data to automate routine maintenance workflows, with one in three fleet customers already adopting the platform to prioritize daily maintenance tasks.
