GM Deploys AI-Powered OnStar Fleet Intelligence Platform

Streamlining commercial fleet management and total operating costs, General Motors unifies connected vehicle data with generative AI insights.

General Motors has introduced its OnStar Fleet Intelligence platform, a centralized operational hub designed to combine asset productivity, risk management, and fleet maintenance data into a single portal. The platform features the OnStar Fleet AI Assistant, enabling fleet managers to run natural-language queries for instant reporting on metrics like monthly idle time or vehicle utilization rates. Fleet Account Number (FAN) holders can link their account to manage all assigned vehicles under a unified single-sign-on login.

For commercial fleet directors, dealership commercial reps, and logistics managers, the integrated ecosystem eliminates manual data reporting while simplifying software subscription renewals and diagnostic tracking.

According to GM Fleet Global Vice President Ian Hucker, the intuitive platform removes administrative hurdles to help business owners focus on efficiently scaling their core operations.
