Michelin Expands X Line Grip D

Expanding long-haul and regional drive-axle offerings, Michelin introduces additional fitment sizes and a pre-mold retread for its commercial X Line Grip D tire.

Michelin North America has announced an expansion of its X Line Grip D commercial drive tire family. Following its initial market introduction in 202 launch, the line now includes expanded dimensional options alongside a dedicated pre-mold retread solution engineered for North American long-haul and regional transport fleets.

For commercial fleet directors, tire retreaders, and logistics equipment managers, the system maximizes casing utilization through Michelin's Duracore architecture, designed to deliver up to one million miles of service across four potential retread cycles.

The new pre-mold retread incorporates the exact tread pattern and compound technologies as the original manufacturing specifications, preserving wet traction and fuel efficiency over successive casing lifecycles.
