CAFU Signs Agreement With Lion Electric

CAFU, an energy delivery platform leading the charge towards electric mobility, signed an initial order for five units of the Lion5 medium-duty, all-electric truck from The Lion Electric Company.

Lion, which is based in Quebec, is a key partner in CAFU’s innovative approach to making the charging process hassle-free for all EV drivers. CAFU, which launched its mobile charging service last quarter, intends to use these zero-emission class 5 trucks to continue expanding its service offering to EV consumers and business fleets across the North American market.

“This initial purchase comes as part of CAFU’s vision to rapidly grow EV operations across Canada and the United States, beginning in Lion’s home province of Quebec, where we already established ourselves as part of the EV mobility ecosystem. Our goal is to ease EV adoption by solving our users' and partners’ range anxiety and pave the way for a zero-emission future, all while complementing the current charging infrastructure with our mobile service,” said Jean-François Lapierre, General Manager of CAFU EV. “We are very excited for the opportunity to work with a market leader like Lion as we build our mobile EV charging fleet and celebrate this important milestone of our journey together.”

“This purchase of all-electric trucks by CAFU is a great example of innovators leveraging zero-emission technology to enhance their operations and the customer experience today, while solving a problem that EV users commonly face,” said Patrick Gervais, Vice-President, Trucks & Public Affairs at Lion. “Agile charging solutions should become increasingly important around the globe, as electric vehicle adoption continues to grow. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with CAFU on scaling their mobile charging solutions in the market.”
