Ram 1500 Earns No. 1 Ranking in JD Power 2026 US Vehicle Dependability Study

Ram 1500 earns top honors in the JD Power 2026 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), ranking first in the Large Light Duty Pickup segment.

The award-winning Ram 1500 improved 13 points year over year, climbing from fourth to first in its segment. The gain was driven by strong performance across key areas of long-term dependability, highlighting Ram’s continued focus on building trucks customers can rely on every day.

The JD Power U.S. VDS measures problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of 3-year-old vehicles and serves as a key indicator of long-term vehicle reliability. Results are expressed as problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), with lower scores indicating higher dependability.

Backed by America’s best full-size truck and van limited powertrain warranty for 10 years/100,000 miles, Ram 1500’s performance marks continued progress in strengthening long-term reliability across the Stellantis portfolio.
