Toyota Ruggedizes 2027 Grand Highlander

Lifting ground clearance and adding standard all-terrain rubber, Toyota expands its three-row hybrid SUV family for active outdoor buyers.

Toyota Canada has expanded its 2027 Grand Highlander offering with the debut of the Woodland Edition. Built on the 2.5L Hybrid AWD powertrain, the new trim gains an extra 12 mm of ground clearance via taller suspension springs, 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, a second-row removable console cooler, and onboard 1500W AC power outlets. The broader Canadian lineup maintains its 2.4L turbo gas, standard hybrid, and 362-hp Hybrid MAX powertrain options across XLE, Limited, and Platinum grades.

For automotive dealer principals, commercial fleet buyers, and retail sales directors, the expanded trim structure taps into growing consumer demand for factory-equipped, trail-ready family movers.

According to Toyota Canada executive leadership, 2027 Grand Highlander models will begin arriving at Canadian dealerships later this year.
