NAFA to Hold Vehicle Fuel Management Certificate Course

NAFA Fleet Management Association (NAFA) is excited to announce it is hosting an online Vehicle Fuel Management Certificate Program, taking place Nov. 4-6, 2025. This comprehensive course provides fleet professionals with the skills they need to efficiently and effectively manage the unique fuel needs of their vehicle fleets.

“Fuel is the second largest fleet vehicle expense, so its management requires scrutiny to take every opportunity for minimizing costs and mitigating risk,” said Bill Schankel, CAE, CEO of NAFA. “Fleet specialists must understand regional environmental issues and policies associated with fuel. This certificate program delivers the latest information about alternative fuels, emerging technologies and government regulations.”

The Vehicle Fuel Management Certificate Program, which is sponsored by Shell Fleet Solutions, is an instructor-led course offered over three live online sessions. Participants will gain in-depth knowledge on critical topics such as:

  • Environmental Issues
  • Commercial Programs
  • Conventional Fuels
  • Alternative Fuels

After completing the course, participants will have the opportunity to take the Vehicle Fuel Management Certificate program exam. Those who successfully pass the exam will be awarded a professional certificate in vehicle fuel management.

Registration is now open for the Vehicle Fuel Management Certificate Program. For more details and to register, visit: https://www.nafa.org/events/fuel-management/
