Samsara Expands Canadian Operations Through Partnership With Ottawa Logistics

Samsara (NYSE: IOT), the pioneer of the Connected Operations® Platform, announced a strategic partnership with Ottawa Logistics, an Ottawa-based fulfillment provider, to handle outbound product shipments for Samsara customers across Canada. Launched in May 2025, the partnership enables same-day shipping for most Canadian orders and significantly reduces freight and compliance costs by shifting logistics operations to Canada, strengthening Samsara’s local presence and minimizing cross-border trade complexity.

Ottawa Logistics now fulfills Canadian customer orders across Samsara’s entire hardware portfolio, with nearly all shipments originating from within Canada. This partnership improves delivery speed and reliability while helping customers reduce international shipping fees and import delays—resulting in a faster, smoother, and more cost-effective experience.

“With Ottawa Logistics, we’re accelerating delivery and ensuring greater consistency for our Canadian customers,” said Liz Klein, Director, Samsara, Canada. “Same-day shipping and domestic fulfillment mean faster delivery, fewer cross-border delays and lower costs—benefits that help customers keep their operations moving.”

Ottawa Logistics operates over 250,000 square feet of secure, climate-controlled, and humidity-regulated warehouse space. Supported by a core team of 55 full-time employees (75 during peak seasons), the company processes more than 40,000 direct-to-consumer orders weekly.

"Ottawa Logistics Fulfillment is proud to support Samsara’s expansion across Canada,” said Paul Van Remortel, CEO, Ottawa Logistics Fulfillment. “With our Ottawa and Vancouver facilities, we enable faster, more dependable delivery to Canadian customers and help advance Samsara’s innovative approach to AI-powered physical operations.”

As Canadian businesses continue to face evolving trade regulations and cross-border logistics costs, Samsara’s domestic fulfillment strategy provides a clear operational advantage—simplifying compliance and improving delivery reliability across the country.
