Sylvain Cabanetos Appointed Head of Canada for Chargepoly

Sylvain Cabanetos has just been appointed Director for Canada at Chargepoly. Mr. Cabanetos has been with the company for just over a year, following a stint at Cléo, a company specializing in electrification.

In his new role, Mr. Cabanetos will be responsible for managing the team and operations, as well as business development across Canada, which may also include ventures into the U.S. market.

Chargepoly, based in Granby, is a pioneer in deploying charging technologies for high-capacity batteries. Its equipment is manufactured in Quebec.

“We have achieved great deployment success in Quebec with commercial, transit, and school transportation operators,” explains Mr. Cabanetos. “We are now making breakthroughs in electric heavy machinery. We want to build on these achievements to support the electric transition of heavy mobility for businesses, organizations, and municipalities across the country.”
