Towable Component Giant DexKo Global Appoints New CEO

Executing a definitive corporate succession plan, DexKo Global, the world’s largest manufacturer and specialty distributor of highly engineered chassis and running gear solutions for towable applications, has announced a major leadership restructuring effective July 6, 2026. Long-standing founding CEO Fred Bentley is transitioning to Chairman of the Board, while industrial operations specialist Eric McGinnis assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer.

McGinnis joins the towable manufacturing conglomerate following a successful tenure as Corporate Officer and President of Climate Solutions at Modine Manufacturing Company, where he led global business channels through significant operational transformations and revenue growth.

DexKo Global represents a baseline utility channel. Operating the commercial portfolios of both Dexter and AL-KO Vehicle Technology, the enterprise dictates the availability, pricing, and safety compliance metrics of heavy-duty axles, electric braking systems, and trailer suspension dynamics across North America.

"DexKo is a strong and well-positioned company, and the time is right to transition leadership as part of our long-term succession planning," stated Bentley. As Chairman of the Board, Bentley will maintain active oversight of global asset investments, protecting manufacturing output across the organization’s 50 production facilities and 70 specialty distribution hubs to ensure continuous category fulfillment for regional transport and recreation markets.
