Goodyear Air Springs Celebrates 70 Years of Heavy-Duty Innovation
Goodyear Air Springs, a global leader in premium suspension components for the commercial transportation, agricultural, and industrial sectors, is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2026.
Founded in 1956, the brand has been pivotal in shaping commercial vehicle suspension technology, notably filing the original 1962 patent for the revolutionary Rolling Lobe Air Spring—a breakthrough design that remains an industry standard worldwide. Since 2007, Infinity Engineered Products has carried forward this legacy as the brand's exclusive engineering firm and manufacturer.
This historic milestone follows a transformational corporate restructuring. In June 2025, Infinity Engineered Products merged with Meklas Otomotiv to unify the two air spring giants under the Infinity Engineered Products name, expanding global production capacity and distribution footprint. Under the strategic vision “United for Growth, Driven by Innovation,” the company recently reinforced its international reach by expanding its distribution network at the Transpotec Logitec 2026 exhibition in Milan, Italy.
“Seventy years represents more than a milestone – it reflects generations of innovation, dedication, and trusted performance that continue to drive our company forward,” said Char Zawadzinski, Chief Executive Officer of Goodyear Air Springs. For fleet managers and commercial repair facilities across Canada and the US, this global expansion translates to broader product availability and supply chain stability for high-volume replacement parts. Looking to the future, Sean Manfredonia, Sr. Sales Manager for the U.S. and Canada, confirmed that the brand remains dedicated to delivering high-performance air spring solutions engineered to keep heavy-duty transportation networks moving efficiently.
