Hunter Engineering has introduced four significant enhancements to its HawkEye® XL Commercial Alignment System, expanding capabilities for trucks, trailers, buses, and light-duty fleets.

Utilizing long-range camera technology to capture alignment measurements in four minutes or less, the upgraded HawkEye® XL integrates new hardware and software features designed to increase shop throughput.

System Enhancements & Technical Highlights

  • Magnetic Wheel Adapters: Fastens directly to lug nuts in seconds, providing rim protection by eliminating metal spades between tire and wheel.
  • Drive-Thru Sensor Configuration: Features up to 16-foot tower spacing to accommodate commercial vehicles in drive-thru bays and OEM assembly lines without equipment repositioning.
  • WinAlign 18.3 Software: Delivers updated target and camera placement guidance alongside flexible thrustline and frame-reference alignment options.
  • Untethered Alignment Cart: Mobile cabinet with integrated battery backup allowing technicians to control system features from the rear of the vehicle without shop cables.

These enhancements lower turnaround times for commercial wheel alignment procedures.
