New Sales Director for Eastern Canada at Huayi Tire

Moving to expand its market presence across commercial transportation and heavy equipment sectors, Huayi Tire Canada (HTC), the Canadian marketer and distributor for Double Coin tires, has named Mike Matesic as its new Sales Manager for Eastern Canada.

In this role, Matesic will oversee sales strategy, fleet account management, and dealer development across the eastern provinces.

Matesic joins HTC with more than three decades of automotive and commercial tire industry experience. He most recently served as Product Segment Manager at Dynamic Tire Inc., where he led product lifecycle strategies and regional market development. His previous career highlights include senior sales leadership positions with Hankook Tire Canada and Beverly Tire.

Working out of Ontario, Matesic will focus on supporting HTC’s established dealer and distributor network while introducing Double Coin’s expanding commercial truck, off-the-road (OTR), and specialty tire portfolios to regional fleet operators. Dave Hatch, Vice President of Sales and Operations at HTC Double Coin, emphasized that Matesic’s extensive background in developing long-term commercial partnerships will be central to driving the company's growth trajectory.

Matesic's appointment reflects Double Coin’s commitment to providing localized service support and expanding access to cost-per-mile-driven tire solutions.
