Thousands Turn Out for Truck World 2026

With more than 500 exhibitors and over 12,000 attendees, Truck World 2026 took over The International Centre in Toronto, Ontario from April 16-18. Our Fleet & Mobility team was on site with a front-row seat to all the new products, innovations, and technologies.

You’ll find a full report on all the latest and greatest from the show in the next issue of Fleet & Mobility. In the meantime, here’s a taste of what we saw as we walked the 350,000 square-foot show.

New trucks
Volvo Truck had on display one of their newest trucks, the VNR. Designed to be surprisingly maneuverable, and able to navigate tight city streets, it also boasts fuel efficiency gains of up to 7.5%.

Ford Pro had no less than two separate booths at this year’s show—one for some of their greener technologies vehicles, including the E-Transit, and the other with some of their newest medium-duty offerings.

Daimler Truck North America showed off the fifth-generation Freightliner Cascadia with its new aerodynamic features and the brand’s latest active safety technologies.

At the other end of the fuel spectrum, the Hyundai Motor Group showed off their Hydrogen Fuel Cell Truck, which is already on both American and Canadian streets, albeit in very small quantities.

Engines, maintenance and more
The Cummins booth prominently displayed the all-new 15L X15 engine and the 10L X10 Diesel, both of which are slated to hit the streets in 2027, while Hunter Engineering demonstrated some of their newest technologies, including the Quick Check Commercial.

A number of tire manufacturers showed off some of their newest products. Double Coin came to the show with an assortment of tires, including the new RR209 regional all-position steer tire and the RBL406 closed shoulder radial drive tire.

The W920 on-highway drive position tire was on display at Bridgestone’s booth, featuring the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, which means it’s ready to tackle Canada’s worst weather.

Yokohama came to the event with an array of products for all sorts of trucks, both big and small, including the Geolander A/T XD G017 and Geolander A/T4 G018—both engineered to tackle tough terrain.
