Volvo Bundles Fleet Service and Powertrain Protection
Volvo Trucks’ new Silver Service Contract merges predictive maintenance with major powertrain repair coverage into a single interest-free monthly payment.
Volvo Trucks North America introduced its Silver Service Contract during the ATA Management Conference & Exhibition. Available across the manufacturer's Canadian dealer network, the service agreement expands on the connected Blue plan by bundling adaptive preventive maintenance with comprehensive repair coverage for major driveline components, including the engine, emissions aftertreatment system, transmission, and clutch.
For commercial fleet operators and logistics companies, combining maintenance and powertrain repair expenses into a single predictable monthly payment stabilizes operating budgets and mitigates exposure to unexpected mechanical failures. Customers financing vehicles through Volvo Financial Services can bundle the service plan interest-free over their financing term.
The contract utilizes connected vehicle telemetry and AI data to dynamically adjust service schedules based on real-time operating conditions. Additionally, a designated dealer Fleet Manager oversees maintenance planning, recalls, and over-the-air software updates, enabling motor carriers to streamline shop visits, reduce unpredicted downtime, and improve total cost of ownership.
