2027 GMC Sierra 1500 Configurator Launch Aids Fleet Procurement Planning

The rollout of the 2027 GMC Sierra 1500 online configurator enables commercial fleet managers to evaluate specifications and adjust acquiring budgets amid rising vehicle MSRPs.

General Motors has launched the online Build & Price configurator for the next-generation 2027 GMC Sierra 1500. The tool allows commercial vehicle operators and fleet managers to map out exact configurations, option packages, and pricing structure ahead of late-2026 dealership deliveries.

Technically, the updated full-size truck lineup introduces updated powertrain choices across trims. The base TurboMax four-cylinder engine receives a power bump to 350 horsepower and 455 lb-ft of torque. GM is also introducing two new V8 engines: a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 producing 402 horsepower and a range-topping 6.6-liter V8 generating 481 horsepower and 501 lb-ft of torque. Maximum towing capacity peaks at 13,500 pounds with the 5.7-liter setup, while the 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel remains in the order guide. Pricing for the 2027 model year reflects modest to significant increases across most body configurations and trim levels. Base 4WD Crew Cab models see starting prices rise by nearly $2,000 USD on entry-level Pro trims, while luxury-oriented Denali models face increases exceeding $4,000 USD. For fleet managers and automotive professionals, these updated price points require recalibrating total cost of ownership (TCO) models prior to placing vehicle orders.
