CarGurus : Crossovers Drive Canadian Used Vehicle Sales

While full-size pickup trucks retain their historical volume leadership, the Ford F-150 (-4.5%) and RAM 1500 (-7.4%) both saw year-over-year sales contractions compared to July 2025. Conversely, the Nissan Rogue posted a 22.2% surge in pre-owned sales volume, outpacing other top-selling utility models.

“Crossovers continue to stand out in the July data,” stated David Undercoffler, Head of Consumer Insights at CarGurus. “Demand remains exceptionally strong for practical, fuel-efficient options in the used market, highlighted by the RAV4 Hybrid posting a 28% sales increase while turning significantly faster than last year.”
