Volkswagen is redesigning the 2027 Atlas
Volkswagen Canada has released official pricing and specification details for the all-new 2027 Atlas. Starting at an MSRP of $53,795, the second-generation seven-passenger SUV is scheduled to arrive at Canadian dealerships this fall.
Powering the 2027 Atlas is the latest evo5 iteration of the 2.0-litre TSI EA888 turbocharged engine featuring a variable geometry turbocharger. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, output increases to 282 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system is standard across all trim levels in Canada, maintaining a 5,000-lb towing capacity.
Canadian Trim Breakdown :
- Comfortline ($53,795): Equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting with animated taillights, power liftgate, remote start, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro, 12.9-inch central infotainment display, dual 15W Qi2 wireless charging pads with MagSafe, heated steering wheel, and standard rear sunshades.
- Highline ($60,995): Adds 20-inch wheels, illuminated front and rear exterior logos, 15-inch infotainment display, Head-Up Display, 360-degree Area View camera, 14-speaker harman/kardon audio system, and panoramic sunroof. (Second-row Captain’s Chairs available for $700).
- Execline R-Line ($63,995): Features R-Line exterior body enhancements, 21-inch wheels, Nappa leather seating with microfibre accents, dual front massaging seats, and Park Assist.
All 2027 Atlas models sold in Canada include a factory maintenance package covering routine service for the first 3 years or 45,000 km.
For Canadian Volkswagen dealer partners, sales management, and fleet managers, the updated powertrain output, standardized Qi2 charging, and included maintenance package enhance the model's value proposition against competitive 3-row crossover offerings.
