Pro-Cut X1 Added to ROI Fleet Calculator

The award-winning Pro-Cut X1 Super Duty DC Powered On-Truck Brake Lathe has been added to the Pro-Cut online return-on-investment (ROI) calculator to help customers determine how much revenue can be realized using Pro-Cut brake lathes to repair, not replace brake rotors.

“The free Pro-Cut ROI Calculator is a powerful tool that helps fleet managers evaluate the financial advantages of using a Pro-Cut lathe for brake rotor resurfacing,” said Jeff Hastings, president of Pro-Cut. “As more and more shops are learning about the advantages of repairing and not replacing rotors, it was important to add the X1 to our ROI calculator so our customers could make informed choices and learn about the financial benefits of using the X1.”

The Pro-Cut X1 is powered by a 48V DC variable speed motor with the power to turn large vehicle axles. Its low-range gearbox provides ample torque while adjustable tool arms and 190 mm feed screw allow techs to match-machine the largest rotors in the industry. It features separate speed and feed controls as well as everything needed to machine the rotors without removing them from the hub.

To use the Pro-Cut ROI calculator to learn about the revenue options for the Pro-Cut X1, choose the X1 on the calculator, type in how many brake jobs are performed per week, the average revenue per brake job, the lease term and the average revenue upcharge for rotor matching/brake jobs. Once these items are entered and computed, the user will see how much revenue can be realized using the X1.
