Truck World 2024: Big Rigs, Big Impact

Annual commercial expo is the place to be when it comes to Canada’s commercial vehicle sector.

From April 18-20 the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, hosted Truck World, Canada’s premier large commercial vehicle expo. Boasting more than 500 exhibitors, over 15,000 attendees and more than 350,000 square feet of floor space, this is truly a one-stop shop for trucking industry professionals. Autosphere attended this year’s event and samples a whole host of products, new technologies and services.

Green technology showcase

New for the 2024 event was a GreenTECH Pavilion in which attendees were encouraged to learn about and network with organizations involved in sustainable environmental practices related to the trucking industry, including alternative propulsion and fuel technologies. GreenTECH grew out of Truck World's previous "Greener Route" showcases and encompasses 100,000 square feet of floor space dedicated to environmental and sustainability-focused technologies and trends.

Truck World also showcases the latest commercial vehicle offerings from the major OEMs including Daimler Truck, Navistar, PACCAR and Volvo Trucks, as well as trailers, upfitters, powertrain, suspension and driveline products, reefers and other types of storage and cargo equipment, service and maintenance products, as well as the latest in technology and telematics solutions for fleets. Additionally, driver training and fleet operators were also on-site providing driving and employment opportunities. Here we bring you a highlight of what was installed at this year's event.
