GM Canada Reports Q2 Sales

Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealers delivered 66,468 vehicles in the second quarter of 2023, an increase of 6.3% over Q2 2022 sales.

"GM Canada's second-quarter sales exceeded expectations, despite continuing logistics issues," said Sandor Piszar, Vice President, Sales, Service and Marketing, GM Canada. "We're particularly proud of our electric vehicle results as we see demand for our EVs continuing to grow in Canada. Strong Q2 results can be attributed to robust product demand and outstanding dealer performance, with a disciplined approach to incentive strategies."

2023 Q2 Sales Highlights



  • Chevrolet sold a total of 3,889 all-electric Bolt EVs and Bolt EUVs

  • Buick Envision sales rose 117%

  • GMC Sierra sales increased 10%

  • Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV sales rose 21% and 34%, respectfully
